Today (December 2) at 1:39 a.m., Airdrie RCMP received a report of a single-vehicle motor vehicle collision on Range Road 11, three kilometres South of Airdrie.
Upon arrival, the vehicle had major damage from striking a power pole.
The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle, a 28-year-old female resident of Calgary, was deceased.
RCMP remained on the scene for several hours investigating the scene. The investigation continues.
RCMP wish to express their condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
