15 new cases of COVID-19 have been identified, however Albertans continue to recover from the illness.

To date, there have been 6,611 recoveries from COVID-19 in Alberta while 334 cases remain active. An additional death has been reported, for a total of 146.

As of Thursday, hospitalizations remain the same with 48 people in hospital with the virus, six of whom are in the ICU.

Airdrie's numbers are also unchanged in the past 24 hours. There are currently three people ill with COVID-19 in our city. 45 Airdronians have recovered and one person has died. The numbers in Rocky View County are also the same, with two active cases and 42 recoveries.

The 15 new cases reported on Thursday are based on 4,226 test results. So far Alberta has conducted 275,524 COVID-19 tests.

Last week, the province opened up testing to anyone regardless of whether they have symtoms or not.
