Multiple collisions and other snow-related mishaps are currently causing delays for Airdrie travellers today.
The latest incidents are:
A Semis truck spun out and is currently in the ditch along the Southbound onramp onto the QEII from Yankee Valley Boulevard. The ramp is currently closed while the truck is being removed from the ditch, expect it to be reopened within the hour.
Another collision on the QEII just north of Stoney Trail is causing big delays with multiple crews on the scene.
There is also another semi that has hit the ditch that is slowing things down on the QEII northbound by Cross Iron Mills, crews are on the way to the scene to try and clear it up but expect delays for a while.
Emergency crews are working as hard as they can to clear the scenes for other drivers and we would like to remind motorists to please slow down, move to the farthest away lanes and take caution when passing crews and the scenes. Please drive safe and take your time, so everyone can get home safely.
