Airdrie's Lightning teams struck hard in the South Central Alberta Hockey League last weekend.

Although none of the four Airdrie teams won their games, there were still some big moments.

On the Midget side, Nicholas Noel scored a hat trick in a thrilling 6-6 tie with the NWCAA Bruins.

Bantam player Matthew Watson had a goal and an assist in a losing effort for the Lightning dropping a 6-3 decision to West Central.

Airdrie's Peewee teams were also on the ice in a couple hard games against Wheatland and Lethbridge.

Josh Davies scored the only goal for the Lightning White who lost 5-1 to the Wheatland Brave, while the Peewee Red were shutout 12-0 against the Lethbridge Hurricanes.
