The 2023 Foothills Hospital Home Lottery has announced its list of winners, and a Rocky View County resident is among the lucky ones. Darryn Listwan won the 50/50 Add-On prize, taking home over $1.5 million. The total sales for the 50/50 were at over $3 million.

The Grand Prize winner went to Calgary resident, Jill Caygill of Calgary who won the $3.1 Million Grand Prize: Showhome as well as $100,000 cash.

Proceeds from the Calgary Health Foundation Foothills Hospital Home Lottery go towards making a difference in the health and wellness of the patients at Foothills Hospital.

"Every year, around 900 patients are admitted to ICUs with a life-threatening nervous system disorder in southern Alberta. These disorders represent between 15 to 20 percent of the patients being cared for in ICU environments by the neurocritical care team," a press release from the home lottery stated.
