Airdrie's Alexander Sharpe has swam his way to another big title.

The 15 year old from the Nose Creek Swim Association won 1st in the men's S7 400 metre freestyle at the Para Swim World Series in Indianapolis last weekend.

Sharpe finished his race with a total time of 5:53.77 to claim the top spot.

The weekend competition featured hundreds of swimmers from 18 countries including Canada, Germany and the United States.
