The Airdrie Irish will have a change of scenery and colour when they play this afternoon (June 24th).

The local football team will play their next home game at McMahon Stadium in Calgary where they'll take on the Grand Prairie Drillers.

It will also be a special time for the team and their fans as the 'Real Men Wear Pink Game' takes over the field.

Proceeds from the sale of pink carnations and baked goods will go to support the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, while the players will be donning pink to go with their green, gold and white.

The Irish will be looking for redemption after a 37-12 loss to the Calgary Gators last week. The Drillers are also looking to get back in the win column after a 47-0 loss to the St. Albert Stars.

Kickoff for the 'Real Men Wear Pink Game' goes at 3pm.
