The 2016 season hasn't been too kind for two of Airdrie's High School Football Clubs.

The Bert Church Chargers and George McDougall Mustangs lost their weekend matches at home to leave both squads winless on the season.

Friday night saw the Mustangs score a single point in a 58-1 loss to Cochrane. The next day, the Chargers put up quite the fight against Chestermere, but fell in their contest 28-17.

The W.H. Croxford Cavaliers had the weekend off but will return to Ed Eggerer Field on Wednesday, Oct 5 against the Bow Valley Bobcats.

Bert Church will have a final tune up against the Cochrane Cobras on Thursday, October 6th, before the Annual Airdrie Bowl on October 14th.
