Rocky View Sports Association (RVSA) high school volleyball has officially reached the midway point in the season as Senior Boys and Girls teams battle on the court.

With all six Airdrie and Cochrane teams back in action Wednesday, the volleyball season is beginning to heat up.

As all Senior teams begin to feel the crunch, every set, every point and every serve matters as the playoffs are set for early November.

Wedenesday's matches all feature Airdrie and Cochrane rivalries as the George McDougall Mustangs take on the Bow Valley Bobcats, the Bert Church Chargers match up with the Cochrane Cobras, and the W.H Croxford Cavaliers face off with the Springbank Phoenix.

The Senior Boys game between the Mustangs and Bobcats gets underway at 6:00 pm at George McDougall while the remaining matches serve up at 7:15 pm.

Bert Church, Cochrane High School, and George McDougall all remain undefeated in Senior Boys play while Springbank is the only Senior Girls team yet to drop a match this season.
