Raffle

With the summer months being a little bit slower donation-wise, Taylor says this raffle will help feed our community.

“We're seeing 25 per cent more food go out than we previously have in any other year. We are the busiest we've ever been, busier than during COVID. I think we are seeing a lot of the fallout of COVID the last few years and people are out of work, groceries costs are higher, groceries aren't even available in some cases.”

To buy a ticket for the raffle, visit the Airdrie Food Bank WEBSITE.

Midnight on June 30th is when the window to buy tickets closes. They will make the draw for the winners on Canada Day.

Taylor finished off by saying they plan on doing something for Empty Bowls and Shamrock Shimmy this year as well.
