On Tuesday, November 22, Airdrie's hockey community learned about the passing of one of its own, Ryan Couling.
On Saturday at 1:45 pm the AA U18 Airdrie Lightning will play the NWCAA Bruins in a tribute game in the Airdronian's honour on the blue ice at the Ron Ebbesen Arena.
If you'd like to attend and support the Couling family, donations will be accepted and there will also be a 50/50 draw.
Ryan sadly lost his 20-month battle with a rare type of liver cancer.
A gofundme that was set up in Ryan's name has raised over $80,000 so far.
