A 21-year-old Calgary resident has been arrested by the Airdrie RCMP following an investigation into a series of assaults in Mid-May.

Police said that the man 'self-identified' as the male depicted in a media release earlier in May.

Police previously reported that on May 16, they were called to a Prairie Springs residence when the homeowner reported a suspicious male at the front door.

“The male began walking away as the resident parked their vehicle. The resident approached the male who said he was offering window and siding washing. The male did not have window washing equipment or sales material.”

He then assaulted the resident, who sustained minor physical injuries. Further investigation found that the man had also been in the area on Saturday, May 13 around 11 a.m.

He will appear in Airdrie Court on July 6.
