Airdrie RCMP is investigating a spate of vehicle break-ins at the East Lake condominium complex that started in early March. On four separate occasions, two or more persons entered the complex parkade stealing items from vehicles.

The break-ins occurred overnight between March 5 to March 6, when an unknown person(s) entered the garage and stole items from vehicles. Several days later, on March 13, at approximately 4:35 a.m., two persons entered the garage and stole items from vehicles. 

Another break-in occurred on March 23,  at approximately 2:25 a.m. 

"Police believe the same two suspects [from the March 13 break-in] entered the garage and stole items from vehicles," an Airdrie RCMP press release stated

Mounties added that in some cases vehicles were left unlocked; in other instances, suspects gained entry.

The most recent break-in occurred on April 5, at approximately 2:30 a.m. In this break-in, police believe the same two suspects accompanied by a third suspect entered the garage and stole items from vehicles.

The suspects from the March 13 break-in are described as follows:

  •  Suspect 1 is a light complexion male, with short dark-coloured hair, wearing a black jacket, a grey hoodie, blue jeans and a black facial covering
  •  Suspect 2 is a light complexion female wearing a black jacket, dark-coloured pants, a green hoodie

The suspects from the March 23 break-in are described as follows:

  • Suspect 1 (the male with a light complexion) was wearing a black jacket, dark-coloured pants, a red hoodie, a black facial covering, and white and black shoes.
  • Suspect 2 (the female with a light complexion) was wearing a black jacket, dark-coloured pants, and a black hoodie

The suspects from the April 5 break-in are described as follows:

  • Suspect 1 (the male with a light complexion) wearing a black jacket, a black “Zoo York” brand hoodie, a plastic mask, jeans, and black and white shoes

  • Suspect 2 (the female with a light complexion) was wearing a black jacket, black hoodie, black pants, and black high-top shoes.

  • Suspect 3, a light complexion male wearing a black and tan jacket/hoodie with black circle logo on the front, and blue jeans.

Police would like to remind the public to remove valuables from vehicles and to keep them locked.
