UPDATE:

Airdrie Rural RCMP are no longer on scene and traffic has resumed on Highway 2, just north of Township Road 274, in the southbound lanes. Traffic has resumed normally.

RCMP continue to investigate this collision with the assistance of the RCMP Collision Reconstructionist.

Airdrie Rural RCMP are currently on the scene of a serious motor vehicle collision on Highway 2, just north of Township Road 274, in the southbound lanes.

A vehicle has collided with a snow plow. An update will be sent when the scene is clear.
