Airdrie soccer teams struggled last night (September 14) as the Rocky View girls soccer season got started.

The Bert Church Chargers and the Croxford Cavaliers both had home field advantage, but neither could leverage that into a win at Monklands.

The Chargers deadlocked with the Chestermere Lakers, resulting in a 0-0 draw after 90 minutes.

Meanwhile, the Cavaliers weren't prepared for the Cochrane Cobras, who rolled over the Cavs 11-0.

The George McDougall Mustangs had a bye last night, and will open their season next Tuesday (September 19).
