The Airdrie Techamtion Thunder of the Heritage Junior Hockey League fell short in game four of the North Divison Final, losing 3-2 to the Sylvan Lake Wranglers Tuesday night. The series is now tied at two games apiece.

Things started out pretty well for the Thunder as they left the first period with a 2-1 lead thanks to goals from Dylan Westlake and Joey Haden.

From there and the rest of the game, the Thunders' offence was on standby as the wranglers were able to score two more goals, one in the second period and one in the third.

Airdrie goaltender Austin White faced 35 shots, stopping 32 of them.

Pivotal game five of the series is Friday night at 8 p.m. at the NexSource Centre in Sylvan Lake.

The series will be finished this weekend, as game six is scheduled for Saturday in Airdrie and game seven (if needed) for Sunday in Sylvan Lake.

Taking a look at the South Divison Final, the Okotoks Carstar Bison swept the Medicine Hat Cubs in four straight games.

The Bison now wait to take on the winner of the Wranglers and Thunder in the best of 5 games League Final.
