The Airdrie Xtreme have won the South Regional finals and are getting ready for the AMBHL Championship Series.

Craig Armstrong had a solid night, adding to an already impressive season scoring two goals and two assists to help the Bisons to a 5-2 victory over the Calgary

Meanwhile, teammate Tristan Zandee scored two goals as well as was named the game's first star.

Ty Mueller scored the game-winning goal and assisted on Armstrong's first goal of the night.

With the victory, the Xtreme eliminated the Bisons three games to one after that team finished with the best record in the AMBHL.

Next up for Airdrie is a date with the St. Albert Sabres who won the North Region with a three-game sweep over the PAC Saints.

Game One of the best of five championship series goes Saturday night (March 10th) at 8:00 in St. Albert.
