The Calgary Stampede has released their poster for the upcoming ten days of fun! It's gorgeous right?! Here in Airdrie, we should be extra excited about this poster..

 

The Calgary Stampede poster has become an iconic piece of The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth. The 2019 poster marks the first time that a Stampede Poster has been designed by a youth artist. The Calgary Stampede Poster Competition provided youth across Alberta the chance to design the 2019 poster. Rebecca Shuttleworth, this year’s winner, created a piece that salutes women in western culture, presenting fine art qualities with a fresh perspective and nontraditional composition. Plus She's From Balzac! We have some very talented people in our community!
