Another day and another impressive performance from Team Alberta and Airdrie's Jake Neighbours at the WHL Cup.

Neighbours had a goal and an assist to lead Team Alberta to a 6-2 victory over Team BC on Day 2 of the tournament last night (October 19th).

The former Airdrie Xtreme assisted on Connor McClennon's second goal of the game in the second period and picked up his goal thanks to helpers from Luke Prokop and Kaiden Guhle.

With the win, Alberta has secured one of the top two spots for the medal rounds.

The final round robin game for Neighbours and Alberta goes tonight (October 20th) against Manitoba at Markin MacPhail Centre in Calgary.

Opening faceoff is set for 6:30pm.
