One of Airdrie's local soccer teams put up a big win on Sunday (August 13th) in the Calgary Women's Soccer Association.

The Airdrie United Aztecs beat the Angels 4-0 in front of fans at Monklands field, to keep them at pace with the number one team.

With the win, the Aztecs sit third in the Division 3 standings, just 4 points away from Bandidas FC.

Erin Chadwick, Olivia DePasquale, Jenna Krumm and Ashley Smith scored the four goals for the Aztecs in the win, their 11th of the year.

The Aztecs counterparts, the Airdrie Warriors will hope to repeat that success when they play Entre Amigas tomorrow (August 16th) at Monklands Field.
