Several local players are ready to lead the way in the AMHL playoffs.

Airdrie's Brandon Machado, Tyler Petrie, Cayde Augustine and Cochrane's Ben Laidlaw are ready to hit the ice when they begin their first playoff series against the Calgary Northwest Flames on March 1st.

Over the season, the Bisons went 25-6-3 on the year and were just one point back of the Calgary Buffaloes for first overall.

Machado was the highest scoring Rocky View skater sitting 14th in the league with 33 points, while Laidlaw led the league in goalie wins with 14.

Game on for the Flames and Bisons goes tomorrow night (March 1) at 8.
