After losing their first game of the weekend by a 6 - 3 score to the Red Deer Optimist Chiefs, the Airdrie CFR Bisons decided to take out their frustrations on the MLAC Beverly Optimists on Sunday (January 6).

Tristan Zandee scored twice and Jake Petrie added a goal and an assist as the Bisons won by the same score they'd lost by the day before, 6 - 3.

Nick de Beurs, Dace Carlson, and Ben Nemish also scored for Airdrie.  Jacob Cathcart chipped in two assists as the Airdrie record improved to 13 - 11 and 3.  They're in seventh place in the Alberta Midget Hockey League's Chrysler Division.

After two home encounters last weekend, the Bisons have another pair on home ice facing them this weekend.

On Saturday they'll play host to the Lethbridge Midget Hurricanes at 7:00 pm.  The Hurricanes are second in the Chrysler Division, just one point in back of the first place Calgary Buffaloes.

Then on Sunday, the Bisons entertain the Knights of Columbus Pats beginning at 4:15 pm.

Both games are scheduled for the Ron Ebbesen Arena.
