The Airdrie CFR Bisons saw their record this season in the Alberta "AAA" Midget Hockey League fall to 7 wins, 5 losses and a tie last night (November 9) when they were beaten 2 - 1 by the Optimist Chiefs in Red Deer.

The Chiefs came out and scored both their goals in the first period and that proved to be all they would need to get the win.

Damon Agyeman scored in the third as the Bisons tried to mount a comeback which fell just short.

Airdrie won't have much time to dwell on the loss as they're right back in action tonight when they travel to Calgary for a game with the Royals.

The puck drops at 7:30 in the Stu Peppard Arena.
