A week after Alberta Health Services (AHS) issued a boil water advisory for 69 residences in Rocky View County, AHS stated that the advisory had been lifted, effective immediately.

On Friday, AHS confirmed that satisfactory water quality had been restored to the Salt Box Coulee Waterworks System and the Rocky View County water systems which draw water from it.

These water systems include:

  • Salt Box Coulee Waterworks System - Boil Water Order lifted
  • Calling Horse Estates Waterworks System System - Boil Water Order lifted
  • Windmill Water Coop Waterworks System - Boil Water Order lifted
  • Deer Springs System - Boil Water Advisory lifted

"All residents and businesses in these communities can return to normal water consumption practices as boiling is no longer required, provided they flush their plumbing systems prior to initial use," AHS added.
