Airdrie's Zach Boychuk has signed a professional tryout contract with the Arizona Coyotes.

The 26 year-old will have chance to get back into the NHL, after spending last season in the AHL with the Carolina Hurricanes affiliate Charolette Checkers.

Having been drafted in 2008 by the Carolina Hurricanes, Boychuk has played in 127 NHL games with the Hurricanes, Penguins, and Predators.

In his 127 games plays, Boychuk has tallied 12 goals and 18 assists.
