If the Airdrie Brewers hope to have a successful Parkland Baseball League season they're going to have to get their bats in gear.

After only collecting two hits in their season opener, a 7 - 0 loss to the Innisfail Trappers, the Brewers were held to just one hit yesterday (May 21) in Lacombe where they lost 11 - 1 to the Dodgers.

Lacombe broke open a close, one run game, in the bottom of the sixth inning.

Airdrie plays their home opener on Saturday, May 27th at 6:00 pm.  Once again Innisfail will supply the opposition with the game at the Chinook Winds Park northwest diamond.
