The Canadian Finals Rodeo taking place at Northlands in Edmonton continue to blow away their audience with how well the cowboys and cowgirls are doing so far.

Airdrie's Jake Vold seemed to have things well under control with his rides and Thursday, November 10, proved to be no different as he jumped on a bronc he knows so well - a horse named Virgil - and together, they earned Vold 89 points.

Meanwhile, Curtis Cassidy has moved ahead of Cochrane's Tanner Milan in the Steer Wrestling, getting his steer with 4.1 seconds and earning first place.

Saddle Bronc Rider, Dustin Flundra, got himself a first place ride on Weekend Departure with a final score of 85.25.

The competition continues throughout the weekend.
