The W.H. Croxford Cavaliers took on the Bert Church Chargers on Thursday, September 22nd.

With both teams looking for their first win of the season, emotions ran high at Ed Eggerer Athletics Park.

It was a cold wet fall afternoon, the kind of conditions only football can thrive in.

Both squads made their fair share of plays, but it was the Cavs offense that would prevail, taking the 17-6 win.

The Chargers will have to wait on that first win, with their next chance coming October 1st when they take on the Chestermere Cowboys.
