Charges laid in knife incident at a Bearspaw school

Cochrane RCMP has laid charges following an assault that occurred at an elementary school in Bearspaw on Tuesday, March 14.

The incident saw an adult victim threatened with a knife.

Dai Shi, age 36, from Calgary has been charged with assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. 

Shi was released on conditions and is scheduled to appear in Cochrane Provincial Court on April 4, 2023.
