The Cobras football team is hot on a winning streak.

On November 12, the Cochrane High School football team came out on top of their last game on home turf in the Regional Semi Finals.

The Cobras battled against the Spartans at Spray Lake Legacy Field, but the Strathmore team proved no match for the relentless Cobras.

Robie McNab, Cobras Coach, says he is pleased at how his team played the game.

“I thought we were very well prepared. We did our film work and the kids practiced hard all week.”

Cobras Quarterback, #20 Tae Gordon, proved again he is one of the best quarterbacks out there in the province.

McNab says, “The amount of times he threw the ball, the amount of completions we had; he moved the ball all over the field. He controlled the game very well.”

Gordon was 19 for 33 in passing attempts with 382 yards through the air and 5 passing touchdowns.

The game ended with a score 71-13 for the Cobras.

The team will now be heading south to play in the Regional Finals against the Cardston Cougars on November 19
