The Croxford Cavaliers earned their second win of the season on Wednesday, October 5, against the Bow Valley Bobcats.

The team took home the win with a final score of 19 - 12 with a strong point spread across all four quarters.

"Our guys finally put together four quarters of football which is always a challenge when you have such a young developing team as our players are." said Head Coach Roy Lewis.

Lewis is proud of the progression his team has made in such a short period of time, earning the win in the last 2 of 4 games.

The Cavaliers will be playing an exhibition game against Lester B. Pearson next week, which will give the grade 9's an opportunity to get out on the field.

"Grade 9's are not allowed to play in league play so we pick up some exhibition games."

The Cavaliers are hopeful to earn a spot in the semi-finals that begin October 21.
