The Airdrie Thuner's winning streak came to an end on December 9 in a 6-3 loss to the Mountainview Colts at the Ron Ebbesen Arena.

The Colt's Evan Ingram propelled his team to the win with five goals, including a 45 second stretch in the second period in which he scored three times. Cole Sutherland rounded out the score for the Colts, adding one goal and getting an assist on four others.

Airdrie's three goals were evenly distributed between Rylan Plante-Crough, Kristopher LeClair, and Dylan Mccuaig.

The two teams entered the game looking to secure a win that would take them to the top of the Norther Division standings. The Colt's win catapults them to the number one spot, leaving the Thunder in second place.
