Bert Church Live Theatre in Airdrie is playing host to Charlotte's Web by the Nose Creek Players this weekend.

It's got me feeling all nostalgic because I remember ordering that book from a Scholastic book order (remember those??) in elementary school.

Charlotte's Web was definitely one of my favourite books as a child. There are so many to choose from, but some of my other favourites were Goosebumps, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, and the Adventures of the Bailey School Kids.

I was a bit of an odd kid, I liked a lot of those darker books.

But I also loved Robert Munsch, especially his classic 'Love You Forever'. This book stands the test of time. I've passed it on to my nephews and they love it too!

'Love You Forever' was such a big part of my childhood. I still remember the tune my mum would sing for the song. I think every parent had their own little tune for it!

What are some of your favourite books from your childhood?
