An Airdrie Hockey player has taken his skills across many borders, and is still going strong.

Kurtis Chapman, who played for the Airdrie Xtreme and the Foothills Bisons is now the backup goaltender for the Portage Terriers of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League.

Chapman says it's a completely different atmosphere than he's used to.

"It took a little bit of getting used to."

Before suiting up with the Terriers, Chapman was the starting goaltender for the Olds Grizzlys of the Alberta Junior Hockey League.

Chapman has also been busy with another team, the Regina Pats of the WHL, who recently called him up.

He's expected to be in their line up for their game against Prince Albert on December 3rd.
