Kienan Hebert is home safe.

RCMP learned of the boy's remarkable reunion with his family after someone phoned 911 around 3 a.m. PT Sunday morning, instructing police to go to the Hebert home which had been cordoned off and unoccupied since the family found the boy missing Wednesday.

"I have unbelievable news that Kienan has been assessed by medical personnel and is unharmed", RCMP Cpl. Dan Moskaluk announced from a statement, which garnered cheers from the assembled media at a press conference held Sunday. "He's reported to be in good spirits, and is happy to be reunited with his family."

An amber alert had been extended into Alberta over the weekend, including the Airdrie area.

Alleged abductor, Randall Hopley, is still at large. Hopley is believed to be driving a brown 1987 Toyota Camry with the license plate 098 RAL.
