Cochrane and Area Humane Society is looking for those pet lovers who may be willing to help.

Stuff a Doggy Bus is occurring on December 3, to help raise awareness in Airdrie that the Cochrane Area Humane Society provides care and support to Airdrie pet owners.

Jaimie Anton, Cochrane and Area Humane Society, Fund Development Officer, says because of not having bricks and mortar in Airdrie it has been tougher to get the word out.

"We are running some shuttling back and fourth for any animals that need help and we are trying to get out to some community events; I think it is surprising for a lot of people in Airdrie, that the Cochrane Area Humane Society is servicing their area."

Anton is inviting everyone to come on down to Pet Valu and help the stuff the bus for animals in need.

"Anything in terms of food, laundry towels, blankets, toys, anything along those lines."

Anton says anyone who drops off goods will be entered in to win some great prizes.

The Crate Escape will have their doggy bus on site from 11 am-3 pm and are hoping to stuff it to the brim.
