On Tuesday, September 27 at 6:30 a.m., a hit and run between a cyclist and a vehicle occurred at the intersection of East Lake Blvd. and East Lake Cres.

"The cyclist was riding his bike through a crosswalk when a brown SUV turned into the crosswalk striking the cyclist; the SUV departed without stopping. The cyclist attended urgent care but was not admitted," the Airdrie RCMP stated.
