The Cochrane Generals have evened their best of five Heritage Junior Hockey League final with the Red Deer Vipers at a game apiece.

Chad Harrison lit the lamp three times last night to lead the Generals to a 5 - 2 win in Red Deer.

Slater Ransom scored short handed and Talus Hume rounded out the scoring for the Generals who out shot the Vipers 43 - 29.  Ty Robinson picked up his eighth win of the playoffs in the Cochrane net.

The Generals don't have much time to savour the victory.  The two teams go back at it this afternoon at the Spray Lakes Sawmills Family Sports Centre in Cochrane.

The pucks drops at 2:30.
