An interesting business name and an interesting reason behind it.  

Owner Augis Norkus shares the inspiration behind Honest Autocenter.  “So we’ve seen a lot of shops taking advantage when it comes time to repair.  One shop tried to take advantage of my wife and me too.  So because of this, and my own trade, I said ‘you know what, I think it’s a good time to do something different and treat people differently.’  That’s why we even chose the name.”

When asked why he chose Airdrie to launch Honest Autocenter, Augis is proud to say “Airdrie is our hometown and that’s where we want to grow.”  He adds “The Airdrie community is great and supportive for new and existing businesses.  We’re happy to live here and  are very thankful for all the support from the people here too.”

Although new to some customers, Honest Autocenter service is backed by a lot of experience.  Says Augis “I’ve been in the automotive business for over 20 years, going on 21 now… and I'm happy to share my expertise and experience with this community.”  Providing more detail, Augis says “I have managed and worked as a technician in a few shops in Alberta.  My extensive knowledge of the automotive industry in Canada and abroad can give you peace of mind, so we fix them right the first time.  I'm happy to share my expertise and experience with this community.”

When asked about the response from the community, Augis replies with a smile “our customers are really happy with the quality and prices because I think that is not being matched at this time.  We work very closely with our customers to offer the best possible pricing on our service and parts.  We always try to help with honest advice and people are noticing that and appreciating our efforts.”

Augis adds “as we move forward we see more and more people notice and appreciate what and how we do it.  Our customer base is still growing and we thank everyone for choosing us for everything automotive.”
