An Alberta couple has been under fire recently after posting a photo of them kissing behind the carcass of a lion.

This "Romantic" photo has caused online debate whether trophy hunting should still be allowed and if hunting, in general, is outdate.

The couple at the centre of the debate are taxidermists that live in Edmonton that were on a safari in South Africa when the lion was killed.

As someone who grew up in a small oilfield town in Northern Alberta, I have always been a firm believer in hunting to put food on your table, however, the idea of hunting for trophies I was never able to fully wrap my head around.

Do you believe that trophy hunting is outdated? Or is hunting, in general, an outdated practise?
