After a disheartening loss yesterday (December 28), it's do or die for the Airdrie Bisons as they head towards their fourth game at the Mac's Midget tournament.

In a matchup yesterday morning against the Regina Pat Canadians, the Bisons fell 4-0. Regina opened up the scoring with a goal from Jaydon Dureau 12:11 into the first period, followed by a second goal from Johnny Carmichael early in the second period, and put the game away with two goals in the third from Peyton Gorski and Dureau.

Steven Bacovsky stayed in net for the duration of the game, facing a total of 19 shots from the Pat Canadians.

The Bisons will have some time to recover from the shutout, facing the Calgary Northstars at 5:15pm tonight at the Max Bell Centre. The Bisons will need a win in the game to stay alive and hopefully advance to the playoffs.
