Three athletes from last year's U15 AAA provincial champion Airdrie Xtreme were selected to represent Alberta in the 2023 WHL Cup which took place October 18-22.

Team Alberta finished second out of the four teams winning a total of three games and losing two.

They started the tournament with a 4-2 win over Manitoba, they lost the second game to Saskatchewan 3-2 in overtime but finished round-robin play by beating British Columbia 8-1. Heading into playoffs, they faced off against Saskatchewan again and beat them 7-3.
