The K-Days Rodeo in Edmonton has wrapped up for another year after yesterday's big finale (July 23rd).

Airdrie's Jake Vold was looking to avenge his 4th place finish from the Calgary Stampede, and nearly came away with the top prize in the Bareback competition. Unfortunately, Vold fell less than one point shy, scoring an 86.75 and putting him in second place. JR Vezain of Cowley, Wyoming won the overall title with a ride of 87.25.

Meanwhile, Didsbury native Morgan Grant made it to the final of the Steer Wrestling competition, but settled tied for 8th place with a time of 4.3 seconds. Cochrane's Straws Milan took home the event's biggest prize by taking down his steer in a Canadian record time of 2.9 seconds.
