Lost bear in city safely relocated

Airdrie RCMP has a  “beary” good update regarding the lost bear.

"Fish and Wildlife have successfully tranquillized the bear and it is safe and sound. They will be relocating the bear to a safe place."

Previously, the RCMP had advised the public that there had been a police presence in the Sagewood Community as there is a bear in the neighbourhood. The RCMP did advise residents to stay away from the community.
