A two-vehicle collison in Airdrie about 1 p.m. Thursday sent two people to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. It happened at the intersection of Main Street and Veterans Blvd. Cst. Nick Fetterman of the Airdrie RCMP explains what went wrong.

The impact was strong enough to deploy airbags in both vehicles. The driver of the Neon and his male passenger were taken to hospital. Neither occupant of the Ford F-150 was injured. The accident remains under investigation.
