A number of Airdrie athletes came home with more than one medal from the 2023 Korean Consul General TKD Championship in Calgary last Saturday.

14 Airdrie athletes won a total of 12 Golds, eight Silvers and two Bronzes medals. Master Chae, a teacher and owner of World Class Taekwondo Academy (WCTA) here in Airdrie is proud of how his students did.

"They did a great job, they trained very hard for this."

Many of the athletes participated in the Sparring or Poomsae (a sequence of Taekwondo techniques linked together into a pattern of moves) category.
