It was an exciting game yesterday (September 28th) for football fans from George McDougall and W.H. Croxford.

The Cavaliers and Mustangs met for the first time this season, with Croxford jumping out to the lead for half of the game. By the time the second half kicked off, the Cavaliers were already ahead 7-3.

That's when the Mustangs' top performers came out and stole the game from their opponents.

Wyatt Anderson, Quinn Bohnot, Rhett Mitschke and Maxime Longchamps had a touchdown each to lead the Mustangs to a 30-7 victory and their third straight win.

Croxford will have a chance for redemption as they continue their tour of Airdrie with a game against the Bert Church Chargers on October 4th.

Meanwhile the Mustangs will put their winning streak to the test when they face the top ranked Cochrane Cobras on October 5th.
