The Calgary Police Service (CPS) has issued a warrant for 22-year-old Joseph Chlala.

On Mar. 16, Chlala was due to be sentenced for the 2020 homicide of Christian Navos.

Navos was killed in a public park in the south Calgary community of Legacy on July 20, 2020, and Chlala was one of three suspects charged.

According to CPS, Chlala has removed his tracking bracelet and his location is now unknown.

He was believed to have been staying somewhere in the 100 block of Howse Common N.E. and was picked up yesterday morning in a grey Chevrolet Impala.

The ankle bracelet was removed soon after.

He's described as 5'5'' tall with a heavy build, brown hair, and green eyes.
