Just days after being named the Western Hockey League's Player of the Week, Airdrie native Ty Rattie is being recognized nationally.

The Canadian Hockey League named the Portland Winterhawk player as their Player of the Week on Tuesday, November 29.

Monday, Rattie was named the WHL Player of the Week after picking up seven goals with five assists for 12 points in four games with a plus-minus rating of plus-8 for the week ending November 27.

Rattie was also named to the Team Canada Selection Camp for the upcoming World Junor Hockey Championship taking place between Calgary and Edmonton, starting December 26.

The selection camp takes place Decemeber 10-14 in Calgary.
