Canmore RCMP responded to a call of a possible impaired driver going west on the Trans-Canada Highway in a rental vehicle Wednesday evening. Police were able to stop the vehicle near exit 89. They smelled marijuana and the driver was arrested for possession. When they searched the vehicle they found better than 4 grams of marijuana, Oxycodone pills and a black satchel with several bundles of cash totalling $15,870. Dustin Plamondon, who's 24 from Kelowna, B.C., has been charged with several offenses. He'll be appearing in Canmore Provincial Court later this month.
